QUOTA4YOUTH MALAWI ROOTING FOR UNIVERSITY STUDENTS ON DEMOCRACY By Alinafe Jonas The non-governmental youth based organisation, Quota4Youth has launched the,Lunch for Democracy” initiative in different universities in Malawi between March- April 2025. The initiative which started in the United Kingdom and United States of America has managed to reach out University Of Livingstonia, Catholic University of Malawi and Lilongwe University of Agriculture and Nature Recourses, where they engaged students on democratic discourse to seek their opinions on various governance issues through a shared meal. The launch was supported by WonderFuture Speaking at the event, The Executive Member, Lumbani Kanjiso Gondwe, said democracy thrives where conversations about good governance ,civic responsibility and the power of collective voices are more important.
