  UNILIA KANING'INA FINALE DINNER HEADS TO SUNBIRD HOTEL By Alinafe Jonas The 2025 University of Livingstonia –Kaning’ina dinner is expected to take place at Sunbird Hotel, here in Mzuzu on 18th April 2025.The event aims at creating an environment where students interact as finales with their guest of honours, the administration as well as finalising studies as students of Livingstonia. However, students are supposed to pay k50, 000 singles while couple paying k95, 000. According to the vice chairperson of the organizing commitiee,Madalitso Mtukula,the payment will cover the venue,food,decoration,PA system and certificate and on top of that ,the lake trip ,which is planned on 19th April,2025. Upon asked to mention some of the activities expected to take place,Mtukula said as a committee, giving certificates to outstanding students in different activities , speech from the guest of honour and others.  Did you know?  There are other countries who do not immediately give a name to a child immediately after it is born rather a nick name they don't register it either,they believe that every child has a right to choose their own name, once at the right stage . This has come in after a debate we had In our human rights class with my classmates. On if it is proper to give a child a name after it is born which is in collation with the article in the international conventant on child rights which says every child has a right to be given/ have a name.  What's your say ? < Is it okay to give a name to a child immediately after it is born and register it ? >
